Seave watched Lyn, and then looked at the bird. He took a deep breath and then concentrated, the feathers coming in correctly, although it happened slowly.

Lyn watched the two eagerly. Walking around Crow several times, she inspected every inch of skin. "Well....I can find no reason to complain, it's shoddy work, but it'll have to do."

She then continued her lecture "Next is the talons. You have to sorta...stiffen your knees at a crooked angle and then harden your skin, all the while pushing your toes outward to create the claws. This is a more difficult step, but both of you should be able to do it." She showed them how it was done, spreading her talons out to the side to help her keep her balance.

(Yeah I did change it, but it is still the same character: Raven. I actually got the idea for Crow from Raven, because I love her attitue towards everything. Crow's much more open-minded though, even if she is secretive.)

Crow sighed softly, closing her eyes and letting her mind slip into the mode of concentration. She followed the instructions.

Crow gave a small confused look to the dissapearing Lyn, then back to the hawk in the cage. She closed her eyes, and thought of the process she went through when shifting into a rock. She thought of her knowlage of Falcons, Eagles, and other birds of prey, and attempted to take on the shape. She took a while to do it, but eventually shifted into the Hawk, yet with a few bad details.

Crow shifted back much more easily than before, and without a single word she strode out, leaving everyone else behind. She was off to Ninja parctice, and since their teacher had left Crow saw no reason to stay.
